Mission Statement
I am a long time user and Beta-tester of NIST’s Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) software (since FDS 1). After many years as a 3D designer in petrochemical I went back to school and completed a Safety and Fire Engineering Technology degree in 2009; now it is my goal to use my modeling skills in fire investigation work. My own simulations have included two Line of Duty investigations for fire departments: a death in a high rise here in Houston and a wind driven apartment fire in Ottawa.
